IPS officer Ayan Ranjan is raised in Europe, so his understanding of India is mostly exotic and bookish. On his first day in office in a small tehsil in India, his life is forever changed after witnessing a horrific crime against three Dalit minor girls who come from the low-caste village, Harimanpur. He is conflicted as he knows how the traditional system would deal with it but if he were to intervene, it will end with catastrophic results. As one the three girls is still missing, he will have to decide whether to just take the easy way out or rise and fight against India's caste system.
