Hong Kong superstar Liu Weichi (starring Andy Lau) has been in the movie industry for 40 years and has always aspired to win the Best Actor. He decided to collaborate with director Lin Hao (starring Ning Hao) on a rural-themed film, which earned him international fame at film festivals. To this end, Liu Weichi went deep into the countryside to experience life, personally solicited investment, and refused to use a stand-in. This triggered a series of ridiculous farces that made people laugh and cry, and also showed the various aspects of the entertainment industry.
