His intimate friend and partner in crime in the village is his grandfather, an old widower, Yeman. Karnan’s mother always chides his irresponsibility, pointing out that he lacks any concern regarding the marriage of his middle-aged sister. It is his sister and Yeman who always stand with Karnan and his glorious dreams. Karnan dreams of joining the Military. He participates in the selection test and awaits his destiny. Amidst this, Karnan falls in love with a heroine who has always cherished a fondness for him. As everything unfolds in peace, unprecedented events distort Karnan’s ordinary life.
