Inunaki Village, located in Fukuoka Prefecture, also called Howling Village.
A psychiatrist, Kanade Morita has a six sense which has causing her constant suffering.
One day, her older brother, Yuma and his girlfriend, Akina visit Inunaki out of curiosity for the purpose of testing their own courage. They end up being almost killed by creatures from another world, and Akina is gone insane as a result. Yuma consults with Kanade to find out the reasons of Akina’s condition. Soon afterward, Akina commits suicide.
To discover the truth of his girlfriend’s sudden death, Yuma took a few friends to go back to the village. Not only Yuma ends up gone missing, but his friends meet mysterious deaths in a telephone box near the village. This deserted village is famous for being a place “never to go” and “never come back alive” among occult lovers.
Located beyond the tunnel that the exit is closed, the village is supposed to be vanished under the construction of a dam. Kanade starts to realise that her ancestors happen to be the main reason for all the incidents occuring around her, and her father seems to know the story behind it. And there is a mysterious man, who constantly appears and disappears, seems to be the key to unbind the appalling history and tragedies of the deceased villagers.
The curse of Inunaki Village has only started...
