Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of Tangled follows Rapunzel (Teagan Croft), a spirited young princess with 70 feet of magical, glowing hair who has spent her entire life locked away in an isolated tower by the manipulative Mother Gothel (Kathryn Hahn). Longing to escape her confinement and witness the floating lanterns that light up the sky every year on her birthday, Rapunzel seizes her chance when a charming fugitive thief named Flynn Rider (Milo Manheim) stumbles into her hidden sanctuary while evading the royal guards. She strikes a deal with the rogue to act as her guide, sparking a whirlwind journey of self-discovery, romance, and high-stakes adventure across the vibrant, real-world landscapes of Spain. Along the way, they must outrun ruthless villains like the Stabbington brothers and escape the clutches of Gothel, who will stop at nothing to retain control of the hair's youth-preserving powers. Ultimately, the journey forces Rapunzel to confront her captor, embrace her true identity as the kingdom's long-lost princess, and make the ultimate sacrifice alongside Flynn to secure her freedom and protect her people.
