Two years have passed since the first year student of the Mizusawa High School Karuta Club, Chihaya Ayase and her friends fought a fierce battle with the Queen, Shinobu Wakamiya. Chihaya, who is now a third year High School student, starts to move towards the national tournament at the end of her high school life while being swayed by the new freshmen. Meanwhile, the new Fujioka East High School Karuta Club struggled to establish their Karuta department to fight Chihaya at the national karuta competition.
