Deku, Bakugo and the other students of U.A. Academy Class 1-A get temporarily assigned for hero work on an island south of Japan. All Might, retired No. 1 Hero, told them it is part of a project to raise the next generation of heroes. On the island, Deku and the others assist the citizens with their daily tasks. Things are calm at first until a group of villains, led by Nine, suddenly appear to destroy the island's facilities. As they try to figure out why Nine is attacking the island, Deku and his friends must protect the citizens from Nine and his gang of villains
