Sadali (Ajil Ditto), a student from Bukittinggi, chases his dreams of becoming an artist and gets accepted into the ISI Yogyakarta University to pursue a major in art. Before embarking for Yogyakarta, Sadali goes through the Taaruf process and gets matched to be wed with Arnaza (Hanggini), a beautiful woman in his village. Because they’ve known each other before, the process of the match goes smoothly. The two end up spending beautiful moments together with the time they have left before Sadali leaves for Yogyakarta.

At Sadali’s arrival to Yogyakarta, he finds a place with the help of Budi (Faiz Vishal), a friend of his from back at his village. The accommodation has a restaurant and an art gallery run by a woman with a love for art, Mera (Adinia Wirasti).

Living in his accommodation, Sadali also gets to know Grace (Shania Gracia JKT48), a younger cousin of Mera who helps at the accommodation. As time goes on, Sadali begins to realize that Mera is the woman of his dreams. Even though he finds out that Mera is a lot older than him, has a daughter and is currently finalizing her divorce.

Meanwhile in Bukittinggi, Arnaza stays loyal and waits for Sadali to come home, waiting to continue this match before their wedding. She sends letters to Sadali to communicate with him.

Will Sadali still continue this love match with Arnaza or will he fight for his love with Mera, the woman he’s always dreamed of?
