Synopsys
For many generations Radha Krishnan family perform the village temple function disguising as the Hindu God Karuppar.
They consider this as their family prestige. Radha Krishnan does good to his village and does not see caste differences in the village so his own family starts to hate him. Radha Krishnan falls in love with Poongodi, a lower caste girl in the village and marries her against all odds. Because of this Radha Krishnan family does not want him to disguise and perform in the temple function and he gets murdered subsequently. Radhakrishnan's wife and 2 kids are left stranded and are rejected by the entire village and they go through many hardships in life. After many years, Radhakrishnan's son, now grown up to be a young man, comes back to the village to disguise and perform in the temple function to accomplish his father's death wish.
