The conflict between Kerala students and Tamil students who study in a college at Chittur town near Palakkad in 1980’s forms the basis of the story. For many years, Kerala students treat the Tamil students as under-privileged and do not give them equality in facilities and opportunities. A rebel Kadhir (G.V. Prakash) rebels against this inequality and brings the Malayalee students to realise that Tamil students are equally capable.
