The film begins with a character named Kathir who is currently in a psychaitric hospital. He is receiving treatment for depression. A girl named Ramya tries to visit Kathir to find out about his past with the help of Dr. Ram. At first Kathir refused to tell his past story to Ramya but after a tragedy he also started telling his past story. Kathir is a poor person but he excels in Education where he continues to study at a university sponsored by the government. While studying at the university, he got two close friends named Bahau boba and Arun. However, he also got an enemy named Sanjay. Sanjay is the son of the owner of the university. Sanjay was very envious of Kathir because he often got number one in education achievement where Sanjay was pushed to number two. This creates dissatisfaction and sanjay often gives trouble to Kathir.
