Tactical sound unit Walküre, featured in the Macross ? (Macross Delta) anime series, will hold its final solo
live tour ""SANKYO presents Walküre FINAL LIVE TOUR 2023 ~Last Mission~"" On June 4th (Sun), the final
performance will be held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 1-3, and will be broadcast live to
cinemas in Asia, as well as to cinemas in North America and Europe at a later date.
""Macross ?"" is the latest production in the "Macross"" series, which celebrated its 40th anniversary since its
broadcast in 1982 and entered its 41st year this year.
Set in a frontier area of the galaxy where the strange disease Vár Syndrome, which causes humans to turn
violent, is raging. The story depicts the activity of the tactical music unit Walküre, which was formed to fight
the Vár Syndrome, and the Aerial Knights, a valkyrie unit of the Kingdom of the Wind. The TV animation aired
from April to September 2016.
Walküre is a female music unit that appears in ""Macross Delta"".
In April last year, the group held its largest ever Macross concert at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition
Hall, attracted about 38,000 audiences in two days.
Furthermore, on April 12th, Sheryl Ranka Walküre's 40th anniversary collaboration album ""Deculture! !
Mixture! ! ! ! ! ” was released, and won the first place in the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking for the first time.
