Trailer & Synopsis
15 years earlier ? A virus that turns people violent and rabid spreads across the nation. Young Zidik wakes up to the horrific sight of his sister attacking his mother. It is only through the selfless act of his father sacrificing himself that Zidik manages to escape. Not long after, the virus is contained by a scientist named Dr. Rahman, who stumbles upon the cure by chance. Now an orphan, Zidik ends up in a children?s home run by the cruel Kak Lily. It is under these harsh circumstances that Zidik connects and forms a deep bond with Zooey, a fellow orphan. One day, Zidik is banished from the orphanage after disobeying Kak Lily. He never sees Zooey again. Fast forward to the present, Zidik now works in a junkyard with Hassan, his surrogate father figure, who took him in after discovering Zidik living on the streets alone. Both men are stuck in the past with Hassan not being able to accept the loss of his wife to the virus and often ?forgetting? that she is in fact dead while Zidik continues to reminisce over memories with Zooey. Unbeknownst to everyone, the now disgraced Dr. Rahman is hell bent on revenge against the society that he feels has turned its ungrateful back on him. Intent on reversing all the good he has done, Dr. Rahman has manufactured a new strain of the zombie virus to throw the world back into turmoil. Zidik and Hassan get caught up in the pandemonium that ensues with the second wave of the zombie outbreak. Amidst all the chaos, Zidik encounters a zombiefied Zooey, who attacks him. Despite being infected, Zooey seems to remember Zidik and slowly regains her memories of him. Discovering that Zidik is immune to the virus, Dr. Rahman takes Zidik prisoner in order to use him to further his plan of destruction. Zidik must now rise to the occasion to save humanity from Dr. Rahman?s wrath. The question is, can he also save his loved ones Zooey and Hassan?
