The aura from heaven and earth has given birth to a powerful pearl inserted with huge energy. Yuanshi Tianzun (the Primeval Lord of Heaven) concocts two pills out of the pearl – a spiritual pill (Ling Zhu) and a sorcery pill (Mo Wan). He then seals both of them in the seven-colored sacred lotus. The spiritual pill will reincarnate as a man, who is destined to assist in the creation of the new Zhou dynasty; whilst a demon will be born of the sorcery pill, who is set to bring great destructions to the world. To prevent disasters, Yuanshi Tianzun has initiated a Kalpa spell to strike the sorcery pill with thunder in three years. Facing the advent of the thunder, will Nezha still be the demon as destined? What will he choose?
