A group of students seek popularity by recording their adventures and uploading the videos on social media. For their latest video, they choose to film it at an abandoned apartment building, where they discover that one of the units is sealed off with police tapes. They enter the unit and find an old parchment. They make the mistake of reading it, as a portal suddenly opens up. It is a portal to the land of the dead and its guardians, which are supernatural creatures, are less than pleased to be disturbed by the group.
