Police suspect that a jewel thief found dead in his building unit, with all stolen goods missing, was killed by his partner-in-crime, a gang leader named Sunny. Police officer Yip Sir and detectives Frank Lam and Siu Mui, who are investigating the case, discover that the crime is related to a jewellery robbery that took place several months ago and that the robbers involved are getting killed off one by one. Frank discovers there is another case linked to the crime he's investigating but to find proof, he will have to depend on the sole witness left at the crime scene: a parrot.
