Set in a world where humans and puppets live side by side, and the puppets on the TV show The Happytime Gang are big celebrities. However, not all is happy in that world as a rampaging serial killer is on the loose, wreaking havoc in the city. It is up to Phil Phillips, a puppet and ex-policeman, to apprehend the culprit with the help of his ex-partner, Detective Connie Edwards. Together, they have to set aside their abnormal differences and work together to put an end to the murderer's deeds.
