On March 18, 2020, Malaysia officially implemented a Movement Control Order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Movement Control Order was thought to be over soon, but the outbreak was repeated in waves. By 2021, the numerous Movement Control Order have led the society to suffer from socio-economic problems. Malaysia is made up of multiple ethnic groups, including the Chinese, Indians and Muslims, it also includes a large number of migrant workers and refugees. While the pandemic has caused suffering among the society, they could not help the others but to worry, so what about the vulnerable groups who have been neglected in ordinary times? When we followed the voluntary groups into the vulnerable groups, we found large numbers of frontliners who were also in the dire straits. After exploring layer by layer, many problems that are usually hidden under the carpet have all surfaced due to the pandemic. There is no solution to this issue, but hopefully it will be noticed by the public.
